Description
The Friends of the Phillipsburg Free Public Library (FPFPL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of concerned residents of Phillipsburg, Alpha, Lopatcong, Pohatcong, Greenwich Township and the surrounding areas in New Jersey. The Friends are dedicated to supporting The Phillipsburg Free Public Library, in whatever way we can.
We are dedicated to being advocates and supporters of our Library. We assist in whatever way we can in expanding our Library’s offerings to children and adults. We do this by publicizing the Library’s programs and raising funds for the Library’s special needs.
The money we raise will allow the Library to purchase new books, magazine subscriptions, computer equipment, computer furniture and other items that are beyond its regular budget.
The Friends sponsor a number of activities, including an annual book sale, and Summer Reading Programs.
