Description

In August of 1990, the Kishwauketoe ("Clear Water") Nature Conservancy District was established to insure the protection of a fragile shoreland-wetland area for future generations. This 231 acre parcel lies north of the Williams Bay, WI Village Beach between Highway 67 (Elkhorn Road) and Harris Road. It is the most intact, undisturbed and highest quality wetland of Geneva Lake.

"Friends" is a 501-3C corporation founded in July of 1992 for the sole purpose of raising funds (through tax-exempt contributions) for the preservation and restoration of the last remaining wetland contiguous to the waters of Geneva Lake.
