Friends of Hawthorne Elementary Foundation is a non-profit organization. We are a member of Hawthorne Elementary School consisting of boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Our mission is to ensure that every student achieves success in the core curricular areas by coordinating school & community resources. We emphasize literacy,provide enrichment opportunities emphasizing arts, sports, & technology. We support students' social-emotional development & teamwork through cooperative learning & team sports. Due to the City Schools budget deficit, our school no longer receives funds for many important programs such as art, music, physical education, library & technology. The Foundation is seeking sponsorships or donations to help keep these programs going. Any sponsorship is Tax Deductible.
