Description
The Fisher House Foundation builds and operates residential facilities at military and VA hospitals nationwide. Our mission is to raise funds to build Connecticut's first Fisher House on the grounds of the VA Medical Center in West Haven, CT. Service men and women and their families stay for free while recovering from illness or injury; no one is ever charged to stay at a Fisher House. 20,000 families are helped annually. Fisher House is the highest rated charity in the USA. The Connecticut chapter sees 97 cents of every dollar go directly to the charity.
