Description
Elizabeth Park, Hartford CT is home to the oldest municipal rose garden in the country and is the 3rd largest. It was established in 1904. the goal of the FEP, the organization founded in 1977 to save the garden from destruction, is to maintain and preserve this garden with over 650 varieties and over 15,000 bushes. This garden is FREE to visit and the FEP hosts many free educational tours all summer long. www.elizabethpark.org
