This organization -
(1) Promotes public interest in Central MS Residential Center (a facility of the MS Dept. of Mental Health) located in Newton, MS;
(2) assists families in obtaining a better understanding of the facility's policies & procedures;
(3) promotes understanding of mental health and the needs of the mentally ill;
(4) encourages support for Central MS Residential Center from civic groups, churches and individuals in the areas served by Central MS Residential Center; and
(5) raises funds for projects at Central MS Residential Center that will improve the quality of life for the patients and provide recognition and support for employees.
