Description

FOBCAR is a non-profit dog and cat rescue that saves animals from high-kill shelters and provides them with vetcare and places them in a foster home until they are adopted.
We are a 100% volunteer, foster based rescue that does not have a facility. We depend on donations and our adoption fees help to cover the cost of caring for the pet while it is in the rescue and providing all it's vet needs. We treat heartworm positive dogs, parvo puppies, any surgery a pet may need while in our care, and all the basic needs as well not limited to but including vaccinations, tests, heartworm and flea preventative, spay/neuter, rabies shots and their food and supplies for foster parents.
We also have community programs in place such as Kritter Kupboard, a pet food bank for those in our community that may need assistance feeding their pets during difficult times. We help spay/neuter community pets as funding allows, and other programs are currently in place as well as listed on our website.
