Description

We are a no kill animal shelter and sanctuary that takes in, treats, rehabs and adopts out animals that were labeled "unadoptable " at other shelters.

30 million animals died in shelters last year. Friends For Life is making strides toward reducing that number by proving , through results in adoption numbers, that the vast majority of these animals do not have to die.

Friends For Life also conducts humane education programs in local schools empowering kids to act for compassion and help get animals homes.

We are partnered with itscool2care to bring programs into te schools that allow kids to get involved in making positive changes for animals in their communities.

We are building a state of the art no kill sanctuary that will serve the Houston and Austin communities as a model for the no kill ideal.
