Friendly House - Phoenix


Friendly House was established in 1920 to assist new immigrants with acquiring literacy skills and citizenship. In the mid-60s, Friendly House broadened its focus to help others achieve success and independence. Today, it remains committed to offering quality programs in the areas of adult education, workforce development, family counseling, social services, parenting, home care for the elderly and disabled, immigration, and youth services. It also operates Academia del Pueblo Charter School. Annually, Friendly House serves more than 40,000 individuals. Mission Statement: Promoting success and independence by serving the educational and human service needs of Arizona families. Vision Statement: To be the recognized established leader in the provision of high quality services to assist families in realizing their dreams.
