Description
The Freecycle Network is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization whose mission it is to empower individuals to gift items to other local community members and/or nonprofits rather than to throw these items away. All items must be gifted with no strings attached. Freecycle.org has some 3 million members in about 4,000 local communities. It was nominated to Time Magazine's Top Fifty Sites of the Year and to PC Mag' top 101 sites. We keep over 300 tons a day out of landfills as a result of our members "changing the world one gift at a time."
