Description
Free the Kids strives to alleviate the devastating effects of extreme poverty in southern Haiti. We support the efforts of Pwoje Espwa Sud (Project Hope South) to offer an alternative to the system of "restaveks" (institutionalized slavery), comprehensive residential care for orphans and vulnerable children along with outreach to impoverished families. Through education, we empower young Haitians to break free from the chains of poverty.
