We are a non-profit parent cooperative preschool serving children from ages 2 years 9 months through 5 years.
Our mission at Franklin Park Preschool is to provide an atmosphere of discovery, joy, and creativity; A place where children can learn about the world around them through social interaction and hands on learning.
"Learn through play" is the philosophy. In early childhood, children learn social and academic skills through play. The school's curriculum is provided in a relaxed and safe atmosphere in which the child feels a sense of order and stability. Adults working with the children differ from day to day, but share the common mission for the school. The school has a regular routine that provides reality for the child, and allows the flexibility to satisfy the child's changing needs. It is a place where children can explore through getting dirty, wet, sandy, manipulating clay, painting, and finger painting.
