Description
Francis House's Mission is to provide a home and extended family for persons who are in their last weeks of life. These persons can not be safely cared for at home or there is no one to care for them. Francis House has two homes, 8 private rooms in each for those in their last weeks of life. Our "family" consists of a dedicated staff and over 500 volunteers. Francis House was initiate by the Sisters of St. Francis and our homes are open to those in need despite race, color, creed or economic status. Francis House does not receive funding from any outside source, not insurances, government funding, nor the Catholic Diocese. It operates totally on donations.
