Description

AfterLight of Fourth Reformed Church is an after school program for elementary age children in the Oshtemo/Kalamazoo, MI area.
At AfterLight children are provided with a safe place to reside during the after school hours, a homework center, a craft center and an activity center.
At AfterLight we recognize that working families and children need a safe-haven during the after school hours and a place where they can be empowered through high school, college age and adult mentors to be all they are intended to be (all staff are cleared of all criminal backgrounds).
Through our homework center, craft center and activity center children are empowered by mentors to construct pieces of their "identity puzzle" to make their future a bright one. We help put the pieces of academic success, character development, artistic expression and plain old fun together to help form the unique individual each child can be.
