Four Footed Friends, Inc. is a no-kill animal sanctuary in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, well-being, and placement of homeless dogs and cats. We were established in Indiana County, Pennsylvania in 1982. Four Footed Friends receives no state, federal, or local funding, but relies strictly on donations and fundraising to continue our work.
We provide emergency veterinary care; answer 911 calls day and night; promote spaying/neutering of pets to control the tragedy of overpopulation; and support the work of a paid Humane Agent to investigate claims of animal cruelty and neglect.
In the Fall of 2006 we will be opening the doors to our long-time dream - a new no-kill sanctuary that will house both cats and dogs as we are only able to house cats at this point in time. This will also enable us to facilitate more rescues and adoptions.
