The Foundation for Positively Kids Compatible/Alternative Therapy (CAT) Program in Las Vegas. They provide an array of therapies that enhance the quality of life for medically dependent and terminally ill children. CAT Program therapies include pet, music and art therapies; relaxation and hippotherapy; and massage, reflexology and cranial-sacral therapy. Many of these therapies can be combined for enhanced effects. Alternative therapies can be used to enhance the quality of life for these children. Whether or not a child is benefiting from traditional therapies, substantial advantages can be gained with alternative therapies. The CAT team consists of Las Vegas licensed area professionals, including physical therapists, massage therapists, pediatric nurses, and Dr. Jim Swift, medical advisor for the program.
