Description

The Foundation for Peace is a 501 (C)(3), not-for-profit organization providing assistance, caring and resources for those in need in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Kenya.

Healthcare
We create opportunities for groups to provide direct medical care and health education to communities with local physicians and nurses.

Education
There are opportunities to sponsor schools and students in the Dominican Republic providing education to students who would not have schooling otherwise.

Economic Development
We market handcrafted items produced by Dominicans providing an income for families. Any proceeds derived from their sale are used for poverty relief projects in their communities.

Mission Trips
A variety of churches and other groups participate in trips co-led by FFP staff each year. Typical activities include construction, e.g. schools, clinics, water purification systems and churches, and provision of medical care.
