Description
Foster Care Support Foundation provides free clothing, toys and safe infant equipment to foster children living in basic care foster homes throughout the State of Georgia. Unlike group homes, shelters and institutions, these children are raised on the lowest per diem that the State of Georgia allows, from $11.60(relative foster home) $14.50 and $18.80 per day to purchase most of the needs of their daily care.
We help to bridge the gap with needed items to attrack stable homes to the fostering community which would give these children sound and secure placement through their time of crisis. Foster Parent continuing education is also offered free each 2nd Wednesday of Sept through Nov. and Jan through May. Not government funded, we support this cause to help 4,000 plus children annually from businesses, faith based and civic organizations, and the private sector. We are making a change in an abused and neglected child's life, one child at a time.
