Description
Fort Collins Soccer Club Mission Statement - The Fort Collins Soccer Club strives to advance and foster the game of soccer among individuals of all ages by promoting sportsmanship, leadership, service, education and opportunity to the community through soccer.
The Fort Collins Soccer Club (“The FCSC” or “The Club”) began serving the Northern Colorado community in 1978 with two youth competitive teams (30 players). In 1979, when the City of Fort Collins recreational programs, specifically soccer, were threatened with cancellation due to budget constraints, the FCSC began sponsoring the city’s youth recreational soccer league. The FCSC consists of two youth divisions; Youth Recreational with 3968 players and Youth Competitive – the Arsenal Colorado program with 715 players. The adult leagues consist of men’s, women’s and coed, with 919 players as of spring 2012. The Youth Recreational division competes regionally with teams from Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, Loveland, and Timnath, Colorado and Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming. The Youth Competitive division competes with teams statewide.
