Description
LECNY (Language Educators of Central New York) is an organization for teachers of world languages and we represent a 7-county district located in Central New York. Our activity benefits both teachers and students of foreign languages. We hold three conferences per year, send out newsletters, and at our year-end banquet, we honor retirees and give out student scholarships to students in our 7-county district who excel in their study of foreign languages. Our scholarships are curerntly $100 each, but with the potential for revenue from Good Search, we hope to one day be able to offer partial foreign travel scholarships to our student scholarship winners.
