Description
For His Glory Adoption Outreach is a minitry partner to our creche in Haiti, Maison des Enfants de Dieu. Our creche is home to 125 children from the poorest nation in the western hemisphere.
The kids are rescued, often starving or abandoned. Currently there are 1.7 Million orphans in Haiti, and the poverty is staggering beyond imagination - just 95 miles from the US. This charity has saved over 600 children in just 4 years; who would otherwise have starved to death or been used in human slavery as prostitutes, or worse - sacrificed by the Voodoo cult.
They provide daily meals, fresh water, clothing & education to the kids, and enable them to find good homes in wealthier countries. They also reach out to the community to help those who cannot be accepted due to the limitations of the facility. The orphanage employs over 80 Haitian workers, who are given a good wage by Haitian standards, and who are treated as family by the American leaders.
