Description
For Darfur is a non-profit organization formed specifically to do the job the media has fallen back on{U2} We're here to make the world consciously aware of what is going on in Darfur and to motivate young people to make a difference.
Just five short months ago, we were just two high school kids with a dream. Today, we are a state-recognized non-profit organization with a teen-run board of directors and over 20 associate members managing our different departments. We also have an advisory board that consists of Jack Healey, former head of Amnesty International, as well as major music producers and promoters from Miami, Los Angeles, and New York.
We are not a political organization, and we have no agenda. What we're doing is spreading the word. Through concerts and club events we are attracting young people who come looking for entertainment and leave wanting to help save lives.
