Description

For years, the small, 13,000-square-foot County branch library on Emerald Avenue served the residents of Fontana adequately. But, when residential development started to take off the library found it was too small and under-equipped to meet the needs of the growing community.

Thus, a new library is currently under construction - the Fontana Library and Resource/Technology Center. Located in the city of Fontana, this state-of-the-art Library will forever change the landscape of the community and the lives of its residents, providing a place to meet, study, read and engage in a variety of other lifelong learning opportunities.

Private contributions are still needed to help offset construction costs and provide service and program enhancements to the new Library. To meet this need, the Fontana Library Foundation has launched a major capital campaign with the goal of raising $20 million.
