Description

The First Tee of Meridian is a nonprofit program providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. This program is for children and teenagers in the community and strives to instill honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, courtesy, judgement, confidence, responsibility and perseverance in each participant. This program has helped many children build up their self-esteem, set goals for themselves, and to strive to make good grades in school. This program incorporates positive life skills with quality golf instruction. This program has parents and community leaders and other caring individuals volunteering to help the children in our community.This program does not exclude children with special needs.
