Description
We are a culturally and intellectually diverse group of students from Nottingham High School in Hamilton, NJ. Each member of our team contributes his or her own unique abilities, all of which become fundamental to our advancement as a team. The members of Team 2191, together with dedicated mentors, encourage collaboration and gracious professionalism in all functions undergone by the team.
FIRST stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology." Their vision, in the words of Dean Kamen, the founder of FIRST, is:
"To create a world where science and technology are celebrated... where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes."
