Description

First Steps volunteers visit with new mothers who have given birth in our BirthCare Center at Newton Medical Center in Covington Georgia ~ providing them with emotional support, educational materials, and referrals to community resources. The mothers are contacted by telephone and/or by mail for three months ~ ensuring that the parents are taking the necessary first steps to a good start for their babies!
