Description

First Presbyterian Church was the first faith community in Buffalo. Founded in 1812, it is often referred to as the “Mother of All Churches.” Even Teddy Roosevelt worshiped here!

First Church might be historic, but it sure isn’t stuffy. Home to a diverse congregation drawing from downtown Buffalo and as far away as Niagara County and Ontario, Canada; people from different walks of life and ethnicity can find a welcoming faith community.


The mission of historic First Church is to bring diverse people of metropolitan Buffalo together to follow Jesus Christ through worshiping God, fostering spiritual growth and serving the community.
