Description

Find the Children is a non-profit dedicated to the recovery of missing children and the prevention of child abuse and neglect. FTC offers a variety of free services to the public. Firstly, FTC acts as a liason between searching families and law enforcement until the child is recovered. Once recovered, FTC provides free reunification services and counseling to the family. Secondly, FTC coordinates the Los Angeles Child Abudction Task Force, a multi-agency team comprised of local and federal law enforcement, community mental health agencies, DCFS, and more. The goal of the Task Force is to reduce the trauma of abduction for victim children and their families. Lastly, FTC provides a Community Outreach Program for Los Angeles County. FTC educates elementary students and their parents on how to keep safe from abduction. In addition, FTC participates in community events to distribute educational literature.
