Fences for Fido is an all-volunteer non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon dedicated to improving the welfare and quality of life for chained, tethered or penned dogs living outdoors in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. Through our volunteer efforts, we create safer and improved conditions for chained dogs, provide education to the public, and help build healthier communities through awareness and compassion.
For dogs living outdoors on chains, Fences For Fido offers their family a free fence, new shelter, and free spay/neuter surgeries. With our services, dogs who were once chained will learn what it’s like to live, run, and play in a safe and more comfortable environment.
