Description

The mission of Fellowship Place is to help adults recovering from mental illness lead more meaningful, fulfilling, and healthy lives by offering education, opportunities, and resources.
Over the last 47 years, Fellowship Place has become a social and learning community designed to maximize the likelihood and pace of recovery. Our treatment interventions are designed to work with the whole person: mind, body, and spirit; to improve individual functioning, improve the individual’s own management of his/her illness; and facilitate the recovery of the individual. Our programs support the fullest possible integration of the individual as an active and productive member of his or her family, community and/or culture. Members participate in, and in many cases run, a wide variety of programs. These programs have played a major role in keeping people off the streets, in positive social activities and in volunteer and paid work.
