Description

The FDNY Ministry handed down after September 11th to encourage the department.
Our goal was to encourage the men and bring the Lord’s love and peace to them.
The Lord has opened doors for us! We are
always asked in for coffee or even a meal. We usually stay for at least two hours. It is amazing how the Lord had used two middle
aged women to visit the fire department. We always bring them gifts and food items. We have also developed personal friendships with some of the FDNY The firehouses are usually closed to outsiders.
The FDNY trusts us and the ministry has been so rewarding on both our part and their part.
My vision is to “share the love of Jesus Christ, to encourage those in their fire service, to care for them and their
families, meeting spiritual growth as well as physical. To let them know, “He is always with them to the end of the age, there is no
need to fear.” 1 Cor. 3 vs. 6: “I have planted — but God gives the increase!”
