Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, Inc. (FDNH) serves the community as a catalyst for action and change by helping to build a community of caring individuals where the strength of diversity is valued and children, youth and families have possibilities for personal growth and an improved quality of life in and around Dorchester.
FDNH is an organization that serves the community by providing educational opportunities at all levels beginning in infant care through adult education. These services provide the needed skills to improve achievement and the quality of life for those we serve. We are an agency with a clear focus and mission.
FDNH has moved from an organization whose programs addressed community need through education to one that uses education as a means to influence and improve the community through high impact programs. Our programs focus on improving academic, social and emotional skills to create greater opportunities for those we serve.
