Description
FamilyLinks is a non-profit agency that provides a comprehensive and diverse range of community-based services to children, adolescents, adults, and families living in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Established in 2001 by a merger of The Whale’s Tale and Parent and Child Guidance Center, FamilyLinks has built on the strengths and excellent reputations of both organizations to accomplish its mission to provide a caring link joining resources of families and communities to build hope, health and strength. With more than 400 professional staff, FamilyLinks touches the lives of over 85,000 people annually at its 17 sites throughout Allegheny County. Its services address a broad range of disability issues including mental health; drug, alcohol, and substance abuse; mental retardation; homelessness; and at-risk youth.
