Description
The Family Place: A Child Abuse Treatment Agency is a private, not-for-profit treatment facility that has provided services to families in and around Louisville for over 27 years. Family Place was first formed in 1977 as a consortium of child-serving agencies with a focus on child abuse prevention and treatment and was incorporated in 1981.
The Family Place mission is to support and challenge families dealing with child abuse through model programs of prevention, intervention, treatment and education that enable families to build on their strengths, grow and heal, and develop nurturing relationships.
