Family Pathfinders of Tarrant County, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization with the mission of strengthening the community by empowering families to attain self-sufficiency. With the vision of “helping families help themselves,” Family Pathfinders is committed to supporting families as they bridge the gap from poverty to sustained financial stability.
Our Mentoring program matches trained volunteer mentoring teams with families struggling to overcome the bonds of poverty. Each team provides a broad range of support including budgeting, job preparation, decision making and goal setting.
Career Steps, our award-winning job readiness program provides unpaid work experience for public assistance recipients and subsidized work experience for youth.
