Description
The Family Giving Tree is a 501c(3) nonprofit, based in California's San Francisco Bay Area (but also serving children in AZ, OR, PA, TX, WA), dedicated to fulfilling the holiday wishes (63,000 in 2007) of children who would otherwise go without gifts and to providing backpacks (15,000 in 2008) filled with school supplies to low-income children.
The goal of The Family Giving Tree is to offer assistance to as many low-income people as possible through the Giving Tree programs, by creating a simple and effective way for anyone to enrich their own life by helping others.
