Description
Family & Children's Service has provided counseling and child well-being services since 1943. Our programs include crisis telephone counseling, support groups for those who have lost a loved one to suicide, trauma counseling for children exposed to violence, community-based family & individual counseling, counseling & support services for grandparents & other extended family who are raising a relative's children, intensive therpeutic counseling & support services to help children in state custody or in danger of being removed from their birth homes achieve a permanent loving homes, school-based character education & conflict resolution programs for at-risk children, and counseling & support services to help Families First participants overcome barriers to independence.
