Description
Families Helping Families of Greater New Orleans is a non-profit, family directed resource center for individuals with disabilities and their families. It is a place where families can go that is totally directed and staffed by parents or family members of individuals with disabilities. We offer these three services at no cost to people with disabilities and their families of all ages:

Parent to Parent Support.
LaPTIC - www.laptic.org is Louisiana’s Parent Training and Information (PTI) Center, funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide advocacy and training for families of students at risk as well as students who receive special education and related services.
LaPTIC provides support to: families that include people with diabilities ages birth through twenty-six; teens & young adults with disabilities; educators & professionals.
