Description
Faith in Action Caregivers supports the independent living of older adults and people with disabilities through the shared ministry of faith communities in Ohio and Marshall Counties in West Virginia and Belmont County in Ohio. Volunteers provide services such as transportation to medical appointments in the local area as well as to Pittsburgh and Morgantown, shopping, errands, chores, yard work, friendly visiting, telephone reassuance, respite for family caregivers and a home based exercise program. There is never a charge for any service regardless of the income level of the receiver.
