Description
We are a 501(c)3 organization with the express purpose of eliminating housing discrimination in the northern portion of the State of Alabama. We opened in June of 1993. We are a grantee of the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Fair Housing Initiatives Program. We have a volunteer board of directors who serve four year terms. We provide fair housing education and enforcement activities in twenty three of the northern counties in Alabama. We are a staff of six. We are located at 1728 3rd Avenue North in Birmingham.
