FHI is an independent locally operated not for profit organization founded to help improve livelihood of orphans and other vulnerable children of indigent families in rural communities of Uganda. We aim to achieve this goal by providing quality education to children, promoting income generating activities, provision of basic healthcare services, ensuring access to safe clean water, helping to ensure food security, increasing rural women’s access to technology and environmental awareness andeducation.
