Description
Vision loss is one of America’s most feared disabilities, and while eye disease is a serious personal concern for many of us, not all eye diseases need to result in devastating vision loss. The Eye Institute's researchers work daily to gain new information to help treat inherited and acquired sight-stealing diseases and our caring physicians and optometrists use this new information to provide care during over 70,000 patient visits each year. The Eye Institute operates on the hope that our work in the lab and in the clinic will result in the prevention of blindness through the improvement, restoration, and preservation of sight.
