Description
Explore Austin's mission is to "change the lives of underserved youth through leadership, mentoring, and adventure". Explore Austin accomplishes this through a unique, 6-year program (6th - 12th grade) that combines the proven benefits of adult mentoring and outdoor adventure. The program exposes participants to diverse and unfamiliar outdoor settings that challenge them mentally, physically, and emotionally. Focusing on team building and leadership training, Explore Austin's unique experiential mentoring program is designed for participants to increase self-confidence, build character, and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and those around them.
