Description

The Executive Service Corps of Houston, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has served the Houston metropolitan area for 27 years. Its mission is "to promote best management practices within the nonprofit sector." Through our pro bono management consultation services, we assist other nonprofits to build capacity, achieve sustainability and improve efficiency. Our corps of volunteer consultants are men and women with senior management/executive or other professional experience in the for-profit sector who volunteer their time and expertise to help the nonprofit sector. Services include seminars, one-on-one consultation projects, in-office telephone assistance, and assistance with the 501 c-3 startup process. In 2005, we helped 220 nonprofits; our consultants gave 10,648 hours of services. In our 22 year history, we have assisted almost 1000 nonprofits.
