Description
ECHO, Incorporated is a non-profit, charity that is sponsored by numerous Rock County church and faith communities. It also receives support from area businesses, individuals, school and community groups, foundations, and social service agencies.
ECHO was created in late 1969 to serve as a food pantry and clothing depot. Today this charity organization is called upon to help meet temporary housing, food, clothing, health, transportation, and other emergency needs for low-income individuals and families in the North Rock County area.
ECHO seeks to help people help themselves through its programs and services, and to assist people in utilizing other existing services and programs in the Rock County area. It does not impose any theological or political value system upon those served.
