Description

The Evansville Christian Life Center is an independent non-profit organization devoted to community outreach through a variety of services. Formerly the Monastery of St. Clare, the buildings and property were donated by a businessman and his family in 1986 with the purpose of meeting Evansville’s inner city needs. The complex includes 85,000-sq. ft. of buildings and 2.5 acres of property. It is equipped with a commercial kitchen, dining facilities, two chapels, a guesthouse, and 160 rooms for offices, living quarters, and classroom activities. All contributions made to the Life Center are channeled into future development of this total outreach. Thousands of volunteer hours go into the ministry and upkeep of facilities. There is no debt or previous financial obligation for the extensive facility. This allows us to dedicate our current and future financial resources to expanding our ministry and continuing our aggressive and much needed outreach.
