Esperanza Health Center is a faith-based, non-profit community health center serving the predominantly Latino community of North Philadelphia. Founded in 1989, Esperanza offers primary health care services for adults and children, serving over 6,000 patients regardless of their ability to pay. Services offered include family medicine, pediatrics, dental care, pharmacy, mental health counseling, spiritual care, nutrition counseling, social services and HIV/AIDS care.
