Equatorial Africa Childrens Cancer Fund - EACH

The privately funded Equatorial African Children’s Cancer Fund is spearheaded by cancer researchers who saw that the need to improve the care of children with cancer in Kenya and other Equatorial countries in Africa was as great as the need to understand the cause of cancer. The researchers involved in this project are working on determining the causes of Burkitt’s lymphoma. While undertaking this research under a separate program, they started the EACH Cancer Fund in 2004 to raise money to provide support for the children with Burkitt's lymphoma and other cancers at Nyanza Provincial General Hospital.
