The Environmental Defense Center is a nonprofit, public interest organization that provides legal, educational and advocacy support to advance environmental quality. EDC primarily serves community groups on California's South Central Coast.
EDC selects cases and projects that preserve the environment for future generations, protect human health, promote appropriate management and use of natural resources, and enhance the character of the community.
