Description
The Co-op provides education on issues such as solid waste reduction, composting, recycling, illegal dumping, water preservation, household hazardous waste and resource conservation for Kaufman County and beyond. In addition, the Co-op serves as management source for all solid waste issues in Kaufman County.
Our Mission: To conserve our natural resources through education, management and awareness of all aspects of solid waste, hazardous waste, overuse of resources emphasizing a reduction of the use of packaging in new products, reuse of resources in our daily endeavors and recycling and buying recycled materials whenever possible.
